I Am What I Am
Lyrics:
Every time I fall down\\nAs soon as I hit the ground\\nRemind me who I am\\nAnd I get back up again\\nGetting up, getting up, yeah\\n\nThis is my master plan\\nI'm gonna take a stand\\nTake it or leave it\\nI am what I am\\nI believe that I can\\nI'm gonna take command\\nTake it or leave it\\nI am what I am\\n\nI am what I am\\nI am what I am\\nBending backwards trying to fit in\\nI'll make them understand\\nTake it or leave it\\nI am what I am\\n\nDevils inside my head\\nLate at night in my bed\\nIt's time I shut you up, yeah\\n'Cause I think I've had enough\\nI've had enough, had enough, yeah\\n\nThis is my master plan\\nI'm gonna take a stand\\nTake it or leave it\\nI am what I am\\nI believe that I can\\nI'm gonna take command\\nTake it or leave it\\nI am what I am\\n\nI am what I am\\nI am what I am\\nBending backwards trying to fit in\\nI'll make them understand\\nTake it or leave it\\nI am what I am\\n\nOh, yeah\\nOh, ooh\\nI am what I am\\nI am what I am\\n\nThis is my master plan\\nI'm gonna take a stand\\nTake it or leave it\\nI am what I am\\nI believe that I can\\nI'm gonna take command\\nTake it or leave it\\nI am what I am\\n\nI am what I am\\nI am what I am\\nBending backwards trying to fit in\\nI'll make them underѕtand\\nTake it or leave it\\nI am what I аm
Malta participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy. Emma Muscat was selected as the Maltese representative via the national final Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022, where she competed with the song "Out of Sight". As the rules of the Maltese national final allowed for the winning artist to change the winning song either partially or entirely with the consent of the winning composers, on 14 March 2022, it was announced Muscat would perform the song "I Am What I Am" instead. Malta was drawn to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 12 May 2022. Performing during the show in position 6, "I Am What I Am" was not announced among the top 10 entries of the second semi-final and therefore did not qualify to compete in the final. It was later revealed that Malta placed 16th out of the 18 participating countries in the semi-final with 47 points.
