Latvia was represented by Arnis Mednis, with the song "Too Much", at the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 12 May in Copenhagen, Denmark. "Too Much" was chosen as the Latvian entry at the national final, Eirodziesma, on 24 February.
